ClassiCon creates contemporary and modern furniture that combines design innovation, craftsmanship, and lasting quality. The Munich-based brand is known for furniture, lighting, and rugs that pair iconic design heritage with new creative perspectives. Its collection includes both established design classics and contemporary pieces with the potential to become future classics.

ClassiCon’s mission is to develop timeless furniture and lighting that tell enduring design stories. The company works with a growing network of international designers, including emerging talent and established names, to create original products that balance innovation, function, and emotional appeal.

Craftsmanship is central to the ClassiCon brand. The company collaborates with skilled local manufacturers and artisan partners to bring design concepts to life with precision and authenticity. Through careful production methods and long-term partnerships, ClassiCon supports high-quality manufacturing, preserves specialist expertise, and promotes responsible, locally rooted production.

Think and care globally; work and care locally.

Founded in 1990, ClassiCon emerged from the traditional Vereinigte Werkstätten in Munich. Since then, the company has built a reputation for producing furniture that combines aesthetic longevity with everyday usability, creating pieces designed to accompany people through different stages of life.

The foundation of the ClassiCon collection includes licensed works by leading figures of classic modernism, such as Eileen Gray, Eckart Muthesius, and Otto Blümel. Over time, the brand expanded to include contemporary designers such as Sebastian Herkner, Neri & Hu, Konstantin Grcic, and Jader Almeida. This dialogue between design classics and contemporary furniture defines ClassiCon’s identity and supports its long-standing “Classic Contemporary Design” approach.

Owner Oliver Holy has had a lasting impact on the family-run company with his passion for design, architecture and art for almost 20 years now. Since mid-2024, he and CEO Timotheus Günak have been jointly managing ClassiCon.
