Casamilano’s heritage began in 1929, when Carlo Turati established an artisan workshop in Giussano, within northern Italy’s renowned Brianza furniture district. The workshop developed into a family furniture business founded upon quality materials and skilled production.

In 1970, the family created Tisettanta, which became an important Italian furniture company through collaborations with architects and designers including Gae Aulenti, Vico Magistretti, Angelo Mangiarotti and Antonio Citterio.

Casamilano was established in 1998 by Anna, Elena and Carlo Turati. Building upon the family’s long manufacturing experience, they developed a new contemporary furniture brand with an international outlook and a distinctly Italian approach to comfort, proportion and material refinement.
