The Ceccotti story began in 1956 with the founding of Ceccotti Aviero in Cascina, a Tuscan town between Florence and Pisa. The company initially produced residential furniture and later developed furnishings for leading international hotel groups.

Cascina possessed a strong woodworking culture supported by its historic School of Art, which trained generations of specialized designers and cabinetmakers. This local knowledge provided Ceccotti with the technical foundation required to undertake increasingly complex furniture projects.

In 1988, Franco Ceccotti established Ceccotti Collezioni as a contemporary design brand. Working closely with architect Roberto Lazzeroni, he connected the company’s exceptional artisanal ability with a more experimental design vision.
