Its combination of organic movement and controlled composition makes Spray remarkably versatile. Depending on the selected colorway, it can feel romantic, graphic, serene or dramatic.
Kintsugi: Finding Beauty in Imperfection
The Kintsugi rug takes its name from the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with gold. Rather than disguising damage, the technique highlights the repaired lines and recognizes imperfection as part of an object’s history.
Emma Gardner translates this idea into an abstract rug containing fragmented forms, branching lines and suggestions of patterned porcelain. Some versions incorporate a subtle shibori-inspired ground, adding another layer of Japanese textile reference.
